Lymphatic drainage session

Slow, light strokes, region by region

A gentle session for anyone who wants an unhurried, light touch. After surgery, see the page for that first.

Dorinda works from the neck outward in a set order, using light, stretching strokes on the skin. It is slow on purpose. You will feel less pressure than in a Swedish or deep tissue session, and many people find the quiet is the point of it.

  • 45, 60 or 90 minutes

  • Little or no oil

  • A pressure you can change at any time

Pressure, cover and clothing

What to expect from the touch

  • Lighter than you expect

About the weight of a hand resting on you, moving the skin in slow strokes.

  • Covered by a sheet

Only the area being worked on is uncovered, and it is covered again when we move on.

  • Wear what is comfortable

Undress only as far as you like. We work around anything you keep on.

  • You can stop

Pause, change position or end the session at any moment. We stop right away.

Questions about this session

What does it feel like?

Light and slow, with a stretching quality on the skin. It is not a pressing massage, and you may feel little pressure at all.

How long does a first session take?

Plan on about 75 minutes for a 60-minute session, to leave time for the talk and a rest at the end.

Is it for me if I have not had surgery?

Yes. The session is the same gentle work, and anyone who wants a quiet, light touch can book it. If you are unsure whether massage is right for you, ask your doctor first.

Will you use oil?

Little or none. If you have a preference or an allergy, tell us when you book and we will work around it.
